Xavier-ShoresThe Greater MC Bd. of Realtors came into the MHP family when we were doing a room for a little boy in Northwood named Xavier Shores.  They contacted us as they wanted to be involved with the makeover.  We were asked what items were still needed for the room or if there was anything they could do to help support our efforts in any way.  We told them that Xavier’s theme was hunting and although we were already at budget, we wondered if it’d be possible to raise the funds to buy him an electric camo 4-wheeler, as that would probably thrill a 4 year old as much as anything.  Well, not only did this generous group of individuals come through with the electric car, they also raised enough money to buy him a helmet, gloves and some gas cards for the family to use as they made frequent trips out of town to doctor’s appointments, chemotherapy, etc.  The realtors also rolled their sleeves up and helped to stain his bed “fort” and were present the day of Xavier’s Reveal, where he saw his room and his car for the first time.

MHP3  A year later we received a call from the Realtors saying they again wanted to sponsor a room and that they would hold a fundraiser to raise the funds.  The state realtors foundation would match anything they raised.  They raised nearly $2000 and were recently the sponsors for Hayden & Logan Putney of Marble Rock.  When it came time to paint, 7 realtors showed up and got the job done quickly and efficiently.
We cannot say enough good things about this group of individuals.  They are truly selfless, have huge hearts and are extremely supportive of what MHP wishes to accomplish.  Thank you GREATER MC BD. OF REALTORS.  Thank you for supporting MHP and making a difference in the life of a child.
